In order for White Bay Search Pty Limited (‘White Bay Search’, "White Bay", "whitebay" ‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’) to provide our consultancy / recruitment services to you, it’s necessary for us to collect and often store your personal information. We’re committed to managing your personal information in a manner that seeks to ensure its confidentiality, integrity and ongoing security.

Candidate information: if you’re applying for a role through us, you may provide Personal Information. This may include (but is not limited to) your name; address; email address; telephone number; information contained on your resume, covering letter or otherwise provided by you; salary information; police and/or background checks. 

Employer Information: if we’re in contact with your business regarding potential consultation or recruitment activities, you may provide Personal Information. This may include (but is not limited to) you name; email address; telephone number or information otherwise provided by you.

Meetings with prospects / candidates: Personal Information may be collected during meetings with prospects and candidate. This may include (but is not limited to) Personal Information voluntarily provided by you, for example your name, email address, telephone resume information.

(3) How we collect and store your Personal Information

We typically collect Personal Information only where you have consented to its collection, or where you would reasonably expect us to collect it in the normal course of providing our services.

Typically, it’s our practice to collect Personal Information directly from you, via a referral or from business/recruitment websites. If it’s necessary to store your Personal Information, we will store it in an appropriately secure physical or electronic facility, including paper-based files, computer databases and/or the Cloud.

We’ll take all reasonable steps to protect the Personal Information we hold relating to you from misuse, interference and loss, unauthorised modification or disclosure. Access to your Personal Information will be restricted to our employees and those who need that information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you.

White Bay Search may retain your Personal Information for the purposes of providing future services to you unless you advise otherwise.

(4) Why we collect your Personal Information

Prospect Information: we typically collect Personal Information for the primary purpose of referring candidate to you, or learning about or advising you of business opportunities.

Candidate Information: we typically collect Personal Information for the primary purpose of referring you for job opportunities.

(5) Who may access your Personal Information

In order to provide our services to you, we may need to provide some of your Personal Information to candidates or to a third party and/or the businesses looking to recruit candidates.  

You may contact us to request access to the Personal Information about you that we hold, or if you have any questions or concerns about your Personal Information hold by us. We will endeavour to meet your request within a reasonable period, and where applicable, provide you with timely access to your Personal Information. We ask that you notify us promptly if you become aware that any of your Personal Information held by us is inaccurate.
